With just over one week until the 2017 Nation's Cup, sponsored by Magic Marine, we have 65 pre-entries which could make it the largest Nation's Cup ever held abroad. This event is being organised by the NSCA and though the entry fee of 66 euros has been set by the club there will be an additional fee of 13 euros which will entitle each Solo competitor to an event T shirt and invite to the "not to be missed" Magic Marine sponsored function at Brakeboer's, in the town. The Dutch Class Association are providing a happy hour to kick the evening off and there will be speeches. All Solo competitors will also be entered into the Magic Marine Prize Draw for some stunning sailing kit which will take place at the Saturday evening meal at the same venue. We are hoping that Magic Marine's CEO Max Blom will be able to attend and present the free draw prizes. Tickets for the Saturday evening meal which has been organised by the OK fleet but who have graciously invited us will be available for 15 euros at reception when you enter. So, with 8 races planned over the three days, temperatures in the mid teens which will be more pleasant than the -4 wind chill of 2016 and a great social programme, we look set for an awesome championship. (the above social programme is subject to change of venue which may be announced at reception). So, at just 94 euros (£79.77) for the whole shebang, there is every reason to get excited. See you on the water. Will Loy President NSCA
