If I retro fit an extended gooseneck on a D+ I know I need to move the black band on the boom. What is the measurement I need to use and from where is it measured.

Width is approximately (10mm )and you need to remove the old band.
Dimensions is from the inside edge of band (forward edge) to the back of the mast.
Thanks Jonathan. I assume width of black band to match what is already there. Old black band do you just leave this there or cover it up some how
Outer point distance 2693 mm
Measurement from back of mast.
You can't use tape muse be permanent, black pen or paint.
Also, is there any specific tape that should be used for the black band ?
