NSCA Demo Solos

With the help of our sponsors the NSCA invested in two brand-new demo boats in 2022.
This initiative aims to encourage sailors from other fleets to try the Solo and subsequently purchase their own boats and join the fleet. The first boat, 6029 was delivered in March and the second boat arrived in August 2022. The plan is to base one boat primarily in the South and the other in the Midlands and the North.

The boats are free to use for a trial sail at your club and can be rented for a small fee at events.

The boats will rotate from club to club approximately every 4 to 6 weeks. You can request one of the demo boats to spend time at your club by contacting the demo boat coordinators listed below. If the boat is not scheduled to visit your club but you would like to try the Solo please find out where the boats are currently located and contact the hosting club directly to inquire about visiting and sailing the boat.
