Hi Sal, sorry to hear about your situation. From my understanding no two knee ops are the same! I am somewhat older than you, by some margin (73). As you say a wide age range of Solo sailors. Total knee replacement in October last year sailing beginning of March - start of our sailing season, was ready before then. No issues, hiking no problem. So much better than before the op and on board language is vastly improved, commented on by fellow sailors. Work on the flexion. Hip replacement 2015. Go for it. Andrew Liddington
