So Ian, have you ordered a new wooden Solo yet?

I haven't actually measured the rake! I've just set up the forestay length as just coming into tension when the back of the mast is pushed back against the mast gate. That's kind of my datum position and if it's windy then I'm inclined to let off the forestay a hole or two. When the kicker is on then the boom is getting quite low! I'm mainly using the S/Spar M2 but also have an M7 which I've tried and I'm on the light side at 70kgs.

Nigel, I have Solo 3733 and have managed to get a measurement of 3060mm from the front of mast to outside of transom. The mast is right up against the front bulkhead and I've drilled a hole through the mast foot tenon and pinned through the mast step with a drop pin, works ok for me.
